In Kihei, South Shore Tiki Lounge runs the reliable bar-crawl energy every night, and Life's a Beach nearby has live music and a dance floor that gets going past 10. Ambrosia Martini Lounge on South Kihei Road is the serious cocktail room on the island.

Kaanapali's resort bars (Duke's Beach House, The Cliff Dive Grill) run later than the restaurant service and have sunset positions that matter. Bigger EDM/club nights are rare on Maui — the island prefers the tiki-bar-with-live-music pattern.
