Fleetwood's Rooftop at Sunset
Fleetwood's Rooftop at Sunset
Fleetwood's on Front St. in Lahaina. Yes, Mick Fleetwood's restaurant. The rooftop bar faces west over the Pacific with a sunset view that makes you forgive a rock star for opening a restaurant — historically not something they do well. Fleetwood's is the exception.
Tropical cocktails, poke and kalua pork sliders, and a drum ceremony at sunset played from the rooftop by Mick when he's on-island or local drummers when he's not. The sun drops toward Lanai, the sky cycles its full palette, and the crowd holds drinks at chest height in shared sunset silence. Live music after dark — Hawaiian, blues, jazz — in a room where the owner is a musician and the staff knows the difference between a set list and a playlist.
Book a rooftop table for sunset — they go fast. If full, the downstairs stage has the same musicians. Ask about Mick's schedule. When he sits in, the evening goes from good to legendary.
